Tash's thoughts of the game Pope 2/10 Burn 1/10 Botman 2/10 Schar 1/10 Trippier 2/10 Bruno 1/10 Longstaff 2/10 Tonali 1/10 Murphy 1/10 Gordon 1/10 Isak 1/10
Shame we had no Joelinton or willock... take two the best players out most sides and the drop is big. I still cannot fathom when Burn will get a rest maybe its just me and same with Longstaff who's also not good enough.
Did you actually think we were playing 433 at the back end of that game? Your desperate ridiculous hounding of Howe clouds your comments.
N No I disagree. And opinions are what they are. But we had no real game plan unless it was to come for a clever 0-0 draw. Which if it was well done. But he did the same against Liverpool and it back fired. We were lucky. They could have been 4-0 up at half time.
It’s a good point. A good result. A weird performance. Our start to the season has seen our intensity go. We didn’t close MIlan down at all.
The approach has been the same in every match. Some teams have a better plan and players and win, some don’t, but we rode our luck Saturday and tonight. We look disjointed, lacking fitness and tired. One month in. Great point, but there’s a huge amount of red flags at the moment.
FFS man. Relax. We've basically done the impossible in 12 months and taken what at the end of the day is an excellent point away at AC Milan.
It’s fine to be like that. We have progressed well. But we really do have the players to do better. And we have spent 400m. With a lot of the signings not even getting on the pitch. It’s strange but Howe maybe is starting to peak. Which is fine. He has credit. But if he wants to be a top manager then he needs to learn by the mistakes. This performance was not a good one. But the result is.
So apparently we cant be concerned about our poor disjointed performances this year because we fluked a point against Milan. We will get smashed playing like that again at home.
