Just been thinking that the arrival of Silva and his staff might make Abels job a little easier as I understand that Portuguese speakers can understand Spanish very well but not vice versa. Fortunately an inhabitant of Uruguay will find it slightly easier to understand as the Brazillian Portuguese influence on the language, albeit subtle, makes some of the language very similar. Just saying like.

It's a start .. just defending crosses or stopping them coming in has to be an improvement

We need practice defending corners. Breaking at any pace above walking speed will be considered an improvement
Before the gist of this thread is completely lost I would like to record my thanks to Mike Phelan for everything he has done for the team since his appointment. It cannot have been easy working for that pair of twats. Thanks Mike and good luck for the future. Take no notice of the ****ers who have posted disparaging comments.
