This. I can understand things like offsides and goal line decisions being called wrong as they can be extremely difficult to spot in real time. But I can't see how on earth ANYONE wouldn't give a red in that scenario.

Not convinced the outcome would've beebread much different if he had gone.

Sturridge and Mata were the ones doing the damage and they wouldn't have been taken off if Luiz had gone. I expect Ivanovic would move to CB and either Ramires or that young midfielder wouldve covered the RB spot.

And we'd still have lost Colo, and Taylor towards the end.

    On to next week.

Dunno what predictive text was thinking! Clearly more people say 'beebread' than 'been'....

Obviously your phone or whatever you're using is particularly popular with beekeepers.

They were playing 4 3 3 so Mata would have dropped back and Sturridge would have been less attacking towards Raylor. We may also have had more of a chance to control the midfield with an extra body in there. Pardew argued that with ten men and a drop in confidence after only 4 minutes there would have been less strain on the defence so Colo might not have sustained his injury. hypothetical of course. If he had have walked we wouldn't have gone down 3-0 though. Circumstances led to the defeat though rather than a bad performance by the team so the belief can't have been knocked too badly. Roll on Norwich.
