Yeah, let's just be nice to him for a change.

Like Chamberlain was to Hitler in 1938.

i think most of you are going too deeply into it,if he would just invest in the team, we would say ok fine. But when you hire someone that tells the chief scout i dont care if you have been tracking him for a year iv never heard of him, we arn't going to buy him we don't need a center half , go 2 windows without investing and just generally give out the impression that you don't care what the customers think. then why should i bother? As for the argument that we would be down the pan without him,he didn't pay off the loans for our benefit, he saved money by doing it.Most people say as a businessman he is up there with the best then say he DIDN'T check the books ?

Apart from wrecking the club as a brand and failing to significantly increase the club's revenue, leaving us financially dwarfed by clubs we once had at least as, if not more, financial resources than. He has also managed to induce a large-scale sense of apathy within the club's support, in turn reducing demand for tickets - and, you guessed it, match day revenue! For example, despite our 16157 seat advantage over Tottenham Hotspur, their match day revenue is nearly twice as big as ours. But stupid people like you (I hope you don't mind me calling you that) think he's super great n'all because he understands one of the more admittedly challenging business concepts that it's best to make more money than you're giving out.

You see, this is why I called you stupid, because here is - wait - 55 words, 292 characters dedicated to something that you just made up. A false dichotomy at that. I don't like Freddy Sheppard OR Mike Ashley. Amazing!

Words fail me! I don't mind you calling me stupid - I have stupid moments, a bit like you and your post!

Tottenham are in the top 5 for most expensive tickets, Newcastle are near the bottom (if not bottom). For match day revenue, yes it may have gone down but the prices for everything has gone in favour of the fans! In terms of away games, I agree in that he should buy all available and am sure for the majority of games it will be a sell out so not sure why he taken this stance.

I whole heartedly apologise if you do not like FS - but from your posts it made suggestions that MA is doing the opposite of what he should be financially which would mean you were in favour of FS's antics?

For the record I do not like MA but some of the vitirol aimed at him in my humble opinion is uncalled for especially death threats and threats towards his family. We could do a lot worse, Barry Moat for example.

These kind of things are unacceptable and need to be stopped, at the end of the day we're better off with him than we were without him.

I sometimes get overexcited and insult people on the internet, but I don't think that makes my post stupid.

That's because of the lower level of demand, which is what I just mentioned. Fans being better off isn't really relevant, and it is purely on a monetary level anyway. It's a perverse benefit for a level of unambition that challenges fandom's essential ruse of self-deception and makes you wonder what on earth the point is.

I don't think MA's doing the opposite of what he should be doing - I have never said that. And even if I did, I don't see how that makes me in favour of FS. This isn't some sort of linear thing.
