    Was listening to Talksport this afternoon and they had some Yank correspondant who said it was pretty much a done deal. I thought fan-****ing-tastic. 10 seconds later he mentioned £30M and my hopes and dreams were dashed.

    Apparently he's going to be costing in the region of £22million. So yeah, either he's going to West Ham or somewhere, or the takeover is genuine and advanced. Probably the former.

    I struggle to believe this. I really do. It could be a statement of intent by new owners if it does happen but until the deal for the club is done there is no ****ing way we are spending £20+ million on anyone.

    I would rather have Fabregas on loan.

    If the £22m figure for Almarion is about right I've seen reports Victor Moses is available for £12m - I'd love to have him here as a RW/RWB - chuck in Kenedy for £8-10m more (doubt we'd get him that cheap) and then loan Loftus-Cheek or Fabregas....

    Did I mention I'm a big believer in Xmas miracles.
