Subtle as a sledgehammer as always Nobollox <ok> Out of the three you mention I think I'd only let Allen stay (which pretty much sums up what I think of the other two <laugh>)

Mings flaps more than a hummingbird <doh>

One of each what? What's on the menu?

  6. One of each item upon said menu :)

No idea TBH, don't even think we'll be going to the pub because the kids are off school. Me and the mrs (nm) usually go between me finishing work (1pm) and fetching the kids (3pm), taking the kids is not only more expensive but it's also far from a relaxing experience <laugh>

Bit Harsh on Ming to be honest..
Think with a more solid and settled front four in front of him he'll get better too..
Allen won't be a starter, I've been a supporter of his since we bought him, not gonna jump ship, think he'll be able to do a job off the bench.
Johnson, his days are numbered, he won't get a new deal and if Flanno gets in ahead of him he could stay ahead of him, could well see out his last season with us on the bench

Amen to that (although yours are older and more numerous). Sounds like a good thing to do on a Friday though, I like it. Miss pub lunches :emoticon-0101-sadsm

that could be a useful tool to have if we are in a good position later stages of prem, as he will work his ass off, either to be given another contract here or better still so others want him.

then again going on a free some club will take him anyway, so where's the motivation?

just talked myself out of that possible good scenario, what a twat lol

    go this summer, ****!

Joe Allen wouldn't have slipped against Chelsea. He would have controlled the ball beautifully. ;)

We'd have won it comfortably without them. All three detract from the quality of the team. Just look at the two goals for Citeh this week, for both of them Mignolet is on his arse in the wrong place, and Johnson was just a welcome mat to anyone running into the back of the box, he didn't even know they were there. Allen is the least dangerous for most of the time, but there are now 6 players in midfield that are vastly better than him, and yet he still gets time on the pitch.

What bugs me is how Pepe can't get a game, and while he may well be very expensive, he is far better than Mignolet.

People talk about Allen and Mignolet, and how they are young, and will improve, **** that, it is like having two kids that are learning how to ride a bike. I want to players that will jump on a bike and win the Tour de France.

    yeah but thats what if.

    sorry but it is.

what if reina had stayed and all was rosey in the garden.... fact is the relationship is no poisonous so while i hate it and its rodgers fault reina's got to go.

what if rodgers signed a 15mil player not allen <laugh>

both are well if rodgers knew better at the time arguments which you chalk up to experience.

we did have johnson, but we didn't have much else did we?

so..... won it easily without? nah don't buy that at all.

I agree with you noble about pepe. He flew out with the squad and should have seen some game time. Maybe he couldve shown rodgers what he can do but I think that ship has sailed and even if we dont sell reina , he wont move jones off the bench nevermind mignolet from between the posts <cry>

    well it's like this.

Rodger could have made him stay behind and train with u21s but reian could claim that breeches contract.

He flew with squad but rodgers freely and probably delightedly rpeorted he's not talked to reina about the situation.

The message from rodgers is clear.... he doesn't want him. Reina's message is equally clear, rodger sis getting no excuse to break any clauses there may be.

this is not about ability is about relationships. Rodgers was the one 12 months ago talknig about dinner with reina's family and talking about what would happen then shoving pepe off on loan. Now rightly or wrongly LFc were in the market for a genuine competitive keeper but in fact it seems it was to cover reina shoving off as well if barca turned in.

When they did not the issue of back stabbing and murky doings occured. Had LFC kept reina and not loans him it'd not been bad but now its totally toxic and reina must go as a result.

Rodger needs to learn form his handling f it cos it's been piss poor.

Not sure about allen and borini mistakes but those were spunking good cash on player he knew so we ASSUME he's learned whats required to play in top 4 from players now... if you apply that learning then rodgers better learn to speak to players like men and deal with these things properly.

If agger wants to go get him gone for instance, don't let a relationship sour. frnakly pros getting multimillion salaries should act like pros and no other decision than... i've got to have the best and i've bought what i want... plus hey you built a house in barca so lets just shake and part ways.

That's what bugs me, Rodgers sticking with his mistakes. What is the difference between these three and Assaidi, Alberto and Borini? Why is he quick to show them the door, and yet he keeps plugging away with these three? Working hard in training and having the right attitude is all well and good, but when you keep picking them, and it costs the club the league, you have to bite the bullet and show them the door.

    ermmm....

at times last year with gerrard hamstring etc we have no option but also allen contributed a little. we've bought Can who looks quite good really. we've also push coutinho in there.

enrique with complete knee blow out so no option. again everoyne on here wants johnson gone... but has he a new contract? nope. no bids either so we have his wages and enrique back so we've got flanagan and RUMOURED RB coming in with potential.

Mingolet? whether or not he's fancied and BTW i've read he's not.... reina and rodgers would require a closed doors fist flying dust up to clear that air and frankly rodgers can beat the crap out of reina who can then admit he was out of order OR rodgers and cow tow, pick reiena then everyone else says... hey can get away with murder here.

IMO as the most ardent one on this decision despite everyone telling me reian is like 50 years old and over the hill... Reina must go get over it, i have. time for reconciliation has well passed.

You mean like the season before when we had Reina in goal instead of Mig and came 7th...
Or the season before that when we didn't have Allen or Mig and came 8th?

If you want the club to only buy players who are WC and ready for here and now you best go and support City/Chelsea/Bayern etc because they are the only ones that can afford to keep buying those players. We need to take risks and buy younger players with potential and coach them to become top players. Far more satisfying for me to watch a Sterling/Henderson/Coutinho come in and develop within the team and become a top top player than spend £70m on someone who has just had a good WC.

The point with reina and mig is ... jones. Both players knew they were number 1 and jones wouldnt dislodge them. Both became complacent.

It would make both up their game if they were competing with one another and brad was out the gap.
