I do understand that fella, but the premier league is worth how much to a club though mate? I know that profit on players with dwindling contracts is desirable, but the economics of the situation is beyond what you bought him for and what you'll get back. Letting him go for nowt in a year would make more financial sense than being relegated, and good players like him are all the difference. Still, Westwood is a good goalkeeper and an able deputy. BUT LIVERPOOL??? WHY LIVERPOOL??? I THOUGHT MIG WAS INTELLIGENT???? JESUS H CHRIST. Any big club in Europe, sure, but F*****G LIVERPOOL?!?!?!?! I'm thoroughly underwhelmed for him.
If you think he's good, wait until you see Westwood play. For some reason I was never 100% confident when Mig was in goal, with his handling and distribution, his shot stopping us world class though. Westwood gives you confidence, he's a solid keeper and a fantastic one too. If he gets a full season people will see just how good he is
How very dare you sir. Mig is both awesome and sexy. AWESOME AND SEXY DAMN IT!!!! I'm sending you a bill for my broken computer screen. It'll contain some flecks of the tidal wave of vomit that broke it as well!!!
we know liverfool is not a big club anymore, but they still are a big name in world football. i would prefer he stayed unless he was going to a champions league team but its not going to happen. his agent has probably been whispering in his ear since the season closed. i think the club would be putting up more of a fight and we would be more disappointed if we didnt have a quality replacement here already. if he wants to go then lets bend the bin dippers over for as much cash we can get and wave him goodbye.
Thats funny because I went to that game & Mk Dons only had like 1 shot on target. plus westwood played against Boro in the next round so that means he did get picked again. get your facts right & if you think westwood isn't good enough then go watch the games against Wolves, Man united & Villa. he made world class saves in them games.
I thought you'd would have only had seen the tv games. If you think that's good enough to scout a player then crack on. I'm very glad you don't work for the club.
This seems to be to be another case of players who are on the bench getting a reputation for being better than they actually are. Same thing as Meyler and Killgallon. Now Westwood.
Not all keepers can go to the age of 38, and still remain at a reasonably good level. Compared to outfield players though, the percentage that can and do is night and day.
Well most people watch games on Tv & thats where most peoples opinions come from. you said all goalkeepers make howlers but they don't. begovic didn't make howlers like Mignolet did end of.
How do you know? You've seen a fraction of Stoke's games over the last two seasons by your own admission. You sir are an imbecile!
The following week against West Ham, Begović made an error gifting a goal to Demba Ba. Home keeper Asmir Begovic's error to let Michael Kightly's pass bounce past him and in to the net gave the visitors hope of snatching a vital victory. Begović continued as City's number one stopper in 2012–13 season and began the season in fine form conceding just 12 goals in the opening 15 matches. Despite a poor second half to the season Begović remained in decent enough form and won the player of the year award. every keeper makes howlers at one time or another.
You do realize there is a difference between a mistake & a ****ing howler? am talking about howlers here because all goalkeepers make mistakes. plus am talking about the season whats just finish & Begovic didn't make a howler. ****ing prick.
but whats it matter, Begovich plays for stoke not us, and if he is so good why are the big clubs going in for him (they may yet but atm they are not)
