I didn't mention in my op that I'm taking someone along with poor mobility so I'm trying to avoid the stairs. Typical that the person who's coming along can gets discounts for age/disability while I have to pay extra for taking them. Having checked you'll probably find seats for around £27 Kampala if you don't mind the stairs and can remove your legs when seated.
http://mobile.htafc.com/news/article/huddersfield-town-qpr-ticket-prices-2560578.aspx Cheapest is £23.50 in advance and most expensive is £30.50 in advance and they go up £3 on the day so the £26.50 cheapest ticket on the day is more than the few £20 tickets we have or plenty of £25. Not saying our prices are good but other clubs clearly taking the piss more.
I take it all back. My boss has very generously given me a ticket to the Indianapolis Colts v Cincinnati Bengals NFL preseason friendly for Thursday (he can't make it) while I'm in town. It's $126 (about £82). Apparently it's a rip off for season ticket holders like him who are given no choice but to buy 'friendly' tickets as part of the package. He reckons he wouldn't get $50 if he tried to sell the ticket. I forgot to ask what an ST costs, I will tomorrow. Makes the PL look a bargain and the Championship almost free.
Same people that watch Nascar will pay for anything. Stands to reason. Enjoy the game, at least the over priced Budweiser and hotdogs will remind you of home
