Whos the black guy flirting with Sakho in pic 5?
Also going on bib theory think we#ll have a bit of a diff line up this week
Makes sense with City next Thurs I suppose

You his agent or something?Play the same team as we did against Spuds.
That was our best performance in around 2-3 years - that's how good it was.
Allen has been brilliant in our last 3 games - there is a common misconception that all he does is play backwards and sideways. What he provides is an option in the middle of the park, always looking for space, controlling the tempo and picking the right passes. Not only that, he presses and closes down the space (from a defensive perspective).
Lucas was ok but we need to upgrade - either Fernando or M'Vila would be great options and it looks likely in January.
I have long campaigned for Gerrard's exclusion so I'm obviously glad that Spuds game 'proved' my theory however I'm also aware that it was only one game. Hopefully we can put in similar performances over the next month.![]()

He was good, but it was the trio in midfield who collectively played well. He does pass backwards and sidewards mostly. Difference is this time there were Hendo and Lucas around him floating around rather than a walking or standing Gerrard so triangles were easier to be found.
It was just better balanced.
The big problem is that those three need Suarez to come deep to create and that means Sterling needs to break the line to provide an attacking outlet and stretch the defense - which he did very well against Spuds for the first time in a long time. Sterling is key to playing without Gerrard imo...
