Warnock inherited a poor side and transformed them into a forward thinking, attacking, fun to watch team.

Redknapp was in charge for one of the single greatest moments of most of our lives.

I think history will be kind to both of their tenures.

10 games in this season I saw comparisons with Warnock's transformation, no expectation quickly became a lot of hope.
I still don't have an opinion on Critchley, the stats however aren't too impressive!

I wouldn't knock Warnock's undoubted achievement.

You've said it exactly in your first sentence on Critchley. Difficult situation (particularly injuries), and out of his depth. The wrong person for the job. I hope there's a break clause in his contract. What were Ferdinand and Co thinking?

Critchley is so out of his depth, that's blatantly obvious for everyone to see. It's not his fault he's the manager of QPR, it's not his fault that he inherited a team/squad that has very little future potential, whether that be by means of injuries, sales or lack of investment along with a poor academy. He is, however, his fault for setting up a team with absolutely zero balance or structure of play. I called it after his first ever interview, he would be better suited to coaching kids and I say that from 25 years of coaching them myself at all levels. There is no conviction in his voice, no confidence, he stutters before every sentence, he doesn't inspire. All these attributes are vital at a professional club. There are many on here who have seen a lot more than myself at QPR. I've supported them since 6 years of age, that's 39 years now. I have never been so uninterested as I am now with what is going on. It's become embarrassing, boring, unambitious and extremely frustrating.

I am not a great fan of Redknapp, but totally agree it was Hughes and the nieve board that got us into the situation.

I have absolutely no inside info on the team or their relationship with Critchley, the more I read here though the more it reminds me of Egil Olson at Wimbledon back in late 1990's.

I knew a few players who could never get beyond him wearing wellies. He literally lost every player through his choice of footwear.
I wonder if Critchleys 'personality' just doesn't click with these players.

Both Olson & Critchley have had success and are respected else where, neither fitted in this this scenario.

Sam Field at right wing just reminded me of Graham Taylor and England, Another respected manager who just couldn't fill that role.

How do you account for Critchley's success at Blackpool? Has he only just developed the stutter?

100% agree with this.

Redknapp was kind of ****e... that promotion winning season was boring. We won 1-0 in most matches and only seemed to get the results purely because of individual talent amongst an expensive squad moreso than any kind of coherent way of playing. We didn't outplay a lot of teams.

Redknapp's tactics: "Go on lads, get out there and do what you do."

Of course, I'd take those 1-0 boring wins now but it wasn't particularly pretty to watch at the time.

Warnock, on the other hand, in his first full season with us, came out of the blocks running fast; we were winning by two or three goals in every game for a while. We were smashing teams. Other teams didn't have a chance against us.

Briatore and Ecclestone actually had the right business acumen to run a football club. I wished they had stayed on having got us promoted. Fernandes came in and was like a kid in a toy shop and got us into the situation we're in now. Despite the fact that he's had nothing to do with us for the last five years. Fans still calling him out to go is laughable as he is long gone.

We need a tough experienced manager that our group of players will have respect for and who can sort out their lack of professionalism. Love to see Warnock walk in tear them all a new one.

We had THAT day at Wembley under Redknapp.
Best day so far for my two lads and probably me, supporting Rangers.
Winning the play off final is undoubtedly the best way to get promoted.
Obviously, our title winning season under Warnock is just as special.
