Well Boro set up to do a job on us and fair play to them they got something out of it, we seemed to have lost a bit of flair over Easter. A points a point in a difficult game of chess which was not very entertaining. Thanks for you company all once again.
Looks as though a few of them really do need a rest. This is a problem when you have a winning side, you don't want too much change.
Yes - I really hope TC is fit for Friday as we're missing his drive, energy and creativity. Probably his leadership too...
Interesting how the comments here and from my WhatsApp pals set against the stats tell different stories. I only expected two points from the weekend so I'm not unhappy. Always more difficult to take when our miserly defence are unable to defend the minimal lead presented instead of making things a bit easier for ourselves and for them. The Watford way.
We are still 10 points clear with 6 games for us to pick up enough points to go up I would worry if the games in hand gave them a chance to go above us but worse case we will still be 4 points clear with 3 or 4 games to go
Yes - and they have Bournemouth/Cardiff who are hardly easy. Brentford know they have to win so getting draws isn't enough.
The downside is our run-in, it gives them the chance if we slip up against them and Norwich especially.
But then on the positive side they have to come out for the win, draws are no good for them, hopefully give us an opportunity to exploit gaps as the game goes on - obviously as long as we have a positive and attack minded display
