    Scrappy, didn't really get hold of the game until we scored. Success a nuisance rather than MOM but was there one anyway? Not sure he and Deeney worked well, in fact Deeney seemed to have little opportunity but he worked hard and defended when required. Great goal, Boro asleep. Ref as you say inconsistent and Boro seemed very aggressive at times. As for your full back who kept getting robbed of the ball...... Zuniga and Watson far more reliable. Good 3 away points, the points we should be getting really.

    Left Boro friend at half time at 0-0. Probably the best time. He cannot believe that the step up from the Championship could be so difficult, and is worried that they could go straight back down. He is even more worried now he will have arrived home and found out the score.

    Me too. A refreshing honesty from the Boro fans about their teams performance with the apparent exception of Success' penalty appeal before Holebas' strike.
