I'm bang into Dutch football mate. Ajax were supposed to win the league this season and making a return to their former glory with some talented players coming through but it's not happening for them.
PSV are light years ahead this year, perfect balance they have, they’ve caught everyone out I think. They’ve got a proper defence and that’s making it easy for them, Ajax and Feyenoord will always concede, PSV have defenders good enough to play in England or Germany. It’s a good league to watch, quality is low but the effort and business is quality.
Thought we played alright today, bit unlucky not to get a point on the balance of play. Think we were a bit better in defence but mistakes still cost us a goal today. Thought Grabban should have scored before they did, yes it was a great save but the shot was close enough to him to give tge keeper a chance. N'Dong was great today, shame he picked up a knock, we were no where near as good when he came off. Matthews was much better than jones when he came on. Gibson was just soooo slow in the middle of the park, he reads the game well enough but doesn't move fast enough to influence it a lot of the time.
I go and watch Vitesse, I'm there in December. The fans meet in the town square before the match and the atmosphere is electric. Flares going off and everything but its all good natured. Nowt like over here. Only 15 euro a ticket too. They've been doing the Europa tickets for just 10 euro

There was nothing between us and Boro today, a team who along with Villa have the best squad in the league on paper. One lapse in concentration and the game is down the drain.
