Yeah, it'll be a few year before these players all grow with experience and start coming to their peak. I'll be happy if we are ready to seriously challenge for the league in our 3rd season. I think if we went up this season it would be far too soon.
I missed that mate I was more on about how they didn’t play that well and sort of got away with our ****e passes. I’m Getting more drunk anawl and I think I’ve some ****s spiked me wine with wizz but am in the house on me arn. Av never posted this much in me life. Bring the cûnt on on.
We were always going to get injuries, its how we cope. Yes Cirkin and Stewart are huge losses to the team, but it's up to the players and the coaches to step up
We huffed and puffed. We looked disjointed at times. Evans looked indifferent, and the balls into the box by Clarke etc were wayward. A draw would have been fair....but Boro gave us no time on the ball. Their keeper caught every ball....he was their MOM imo.
We go up and bank £200million plus though and come down, how far does that accelerate the progress? I wouldn’t ever turn down the PL, even if I agree I want us to be ready and prepared when we get there.
Cirkin's is an awkward one. Imagine we would have gone 4 at the back with 1 up top on Sat if RS was out. Who can play there now? Alese maybe, but he's not a fullback really is he...
Liked what Mowbray said about players stepping up and bringing Personality to the game The likes of Neil and Embleton are lovely footballers (Neil did ok today) but they do tend to stand back and coast through games. Pritchard at his best constantly looks to influence the game. I’m hoping some of the new lads can bring a bit of drive and personality to the midfield
This is why I was suggesting Danny Rose might be a good shout. If Cirkin's out we either hoy Alese in and hope for the best or play a right footer at LB/LCB. Not sure what formation we're going to be using with Mowbray but I'd suspect that Alese at LCB and Clarke LWB would be weak defensively.
You'd be banking on not having all the youngsters and squad we've put so much planning and effort into, ripped apart. We'd be fine cash wise but it would feel a little like starting the process over, again.
Same here, I’d rather gan up than not but I understand those who want us to be ready. I love lowping all ower when we score , win and gan up.
And just to chuck some more cold water on tonight, I had a chat with an agent from Liverpool he claims Ross has been tapped for Xmas window by Everton. Now it's not a fact, but he is a decent scouser, and has no need to talk crap.
To have that much possession and not create a real chance in that second half was disappointing. We just looked a wee bit leggy. The movement wasn't great and I suspect Stewart does so much work he is very hard to replace.
Anything g less than £20 m and it’s not worth listening. He’s the ****ing real deal and should be Scotlands main man for years but the porridge gobblers probably think some twàt else is better
