Having seen what Arsenal did to Stoke and Liverpool did to West Ham, I think our defence is better than either of theirs. In fact our team as a whole have produced better. Controversial opinion, I know. But if you can't be provocative at my age.

 

Why do we need to convert Pied to LB when we have two good young standings waiting their chance in McQueen and Targett
To be honest if Bertrand can't be bothered then get McQueen in the team for Wednesday

Just watched the Solent commentary highlights from yesterday's game, and I think I really am going to have to get myself a Twitter account, because if I hear Whispering Dave call Fraser Forster 'Foster' one more time then I fear for my TV screen. I've got to tweet Adam Blackmore to plead with him to remind WD that there are two 'R's in Fraser's surname. I honestly don't believe he's saying 'Forster', but with a Geordie accent. He's saying Foster even though I've no doubt he's seen the spelling of Forster's name dozens of times in the past few seasons.

 

Not 20 minutes ago, I walked past some disconsolate West Ham fans at a train station in London, and thought, "I'm glad I'm not them".

 

I wake up every morning thankful I'm not a West Ham fan.

 

Shouldn't that be a London Stadium fan. Or is it Westam fan?

 

I have a young nephew who, upto a season ago, was a Chelsea fan [no reason, he just was]. I tried to educate him, but I accepted it. It was understandable. I spoke to him last Friday night and now he's a WHU fan [again, no reason, he just is]. He lives just across the other side of Northam Bridge from St Mary's. If I thought it was worth it I'd spend a bit of time trying to educate him further, but he's moving to Bristol in July and is already trying to make up his mind whether he's going to be a City or Rovers fan. Going on his past experience, I suspect he might flip-flop every season.

 

He's growing up then if he's considering Brizzle City or Rovers... better than Chelski or Shammers

 

I suppose so. But why has he never taken to Saints.? Are we that weak horlicks.?
