A great start to the season. A brave team selection by NP, but it paid off. I bet he has had so much slagging off for not selecting Knockaert! Keep the faith :)

Great start. Read this thread from start to finish, fantastic how opinion can change. I guess this is why Pearson is a football club manager and we only talk about it.

I think we should start Chris Wood, he sounds like he could do with scoring a goal, no disrespect to Wycombe or anything.

I wonder who it was directed at? The fans who wrongfully IMO got on his back or NP for making him available for transfer

We didn't 'wrongly' get on his back.

He's been absolute garbage for way too long. He didn't hit the standards we expect of him/he can hit.

Glad he played well but it's going to take a lot more to convince me he's the right man for the job. Think he's the worst of the three in midfield by a long stretch.

He was superb for 2/3 of last season like much of our squad. He hit the buffers just as King and James really came into form

Disagree. He was very good for the first few games. He was poor/not playing for the second two thirds of the season. Gave the ball away far too often, and for someone who plays a short passing game, was not good enough. Fair play to him though - I will give him credit in that he didnt try to hide in a game.
