Why, this weekend? No one but the nutcases on here, thought we'd get anything today....Season might be starting next week vs Blackburn, then midweek to Watford. Let Daws take both games and take it from there.

I agree. Middlesbrough are a good side and Dawson isn’t a manager.
We don’t really know how good a coach he is really - he’s probably popular amongst the players but doesn’t have the tactical nous to change things too much.
I think it’s been an improved performance and that’s ok.

I agree with this it's a basic error playing Drameh on the left when you have Jacob or Giles, Giles might have been up for it today V his old team
Jesus. I love Macca for his attitude and effort, but he's been terrible on the ball. He takes way too long to decide what to do, rolls slow passes to Jones which allow the opposition to get across and cover, and occasionally hoofs a long ball into touch. He's doing a good job of demonstrating why Hughes plays instead of him.
It feels like the negativity is a bit of a spiral in here. It's telling that GFAW who hasn't read the thread is much more positive than a lot of those posting all half. It's almost like a bit of a groupthink takes over

As soon as we concede a goal heads go down as we're lacking confidence. Need to fight second half; start to put a bit more fire in our belly. It's not just about today, it's about the rest of the season.
I hate Giles, gets better the longer he’s not in the team, comes back in and he’s just as lazy, timid and ****e as he’s ever been for us.

Acun needs to tear his brain team a new one, they've spent a fortune in the summer and ended up with a worse team than we had when he took over
