It’s not rocket science. Bowler out wide, Bowen up top, Eaves can be the waterboy.

Lucky, lucky City, to come away with a point. Absolutely awful first half, deserved to lose it on that alone. Grosicki was appalling all game, took me an hour to realise Irvine was on the pitch then I wish I hadn't, if not for Bowen we'd have quite rightly lost. Decision making, passing, set piece play, all terrible. Eaves, hardly worth a mention. Very disappointing.

I don't rate him at all .... so far. Maybe he will come good in time, but he looks way off for me.
However, there were 2 or 3 times 2nd half where he split the central defenders and there were easy balls from midfield to play him in on goal. Each time it was like the midfielders deliberately ignored him and played it elsewhere. No confidence in him perhaps?
I was shouting, "play him in ffs" ..... quickly followed by ".... but then he'd only have messed it up".
Could have done with Magennis today.

Decent point I suppose although felt we could win it at the end if the decision making was better. Think its clear Grosicki needs a rest, best do it now as we are approaching the toughest part of the season.

For me re Eaves, if you cannot provide him with service then its pointless. Why did we buy him if the style of play isn't suited to his game? He had one cross he could have directed at goal today and he did. I feel for the lad. Some of our crossing is poor and some of the final decision/pass making as highlighted on Sky is equally poor, but thats where we are. Who's going to score the goals come the end of January goodness only knows. One last thing and after any international break Grosicki is a 'crock of' first game back, its got to be a mental thing with him. 2 points dropped in the end today.

    Frustrating kinda player.

As said previously without a bit more investment City are arguably going to be one or two players short of having a real go at the top 3 or 4 clubs again.

No to be honest. I don’t think he fits in with a counter attacking side anyway which we are. Also when we have the ball or when they let us have the ball we could do with some one with a bit more savvy.
