We are crap .. there is no getting away from the lack of quality.. but ffs we have 2 wing backs who have shown previously they are capable of getting to the line and putting crosses in .. so what does this imbecile do .. plays them in a flat 4 with no chance of getting forward .. stifles the space in front by playing 5 across the middle .. Snoddy surely can be accommodated in behind the main striker or at least in the right side of the central 3 within a 3-5-2 .. get rid of Mason and Henriksen onto the bench they are both passengers and ffs give it a go instead of ****ting ourselves before the game has even kicked off .. played in a correct system we will be no world beaters but at least we'll offer some sort of threat .. Phelan's tactics are compounding this at the minute

Thats an excellent point.
And thats the not trying bit polly and plt dont get. Players are going through the motions and doing just their job. No more.

Cloughie used to say McGovern was the bravest player he had as he never hid. Even when they were losing he did his job and showed for the ball.

Ryan Mason is a non stopp runner apparently. He's also a CM. He's not helping himself but Phelans hardly helping him is he sticking him wide left. PAul Scholes chucked England cos they wanted him to play there.

Absolutely agree with all of this, especially the idiocy of playing two full backs when neither Elmo or Robertson are good enough.

Bowen showed more brains and football knowledge and ability in 20 odd minutes than Mason and Henriksen have done all season. All the haters of Meyler should be saying the same for Livermore, his passing is League 2 at best.
 
Didn't OLM recently say that our way bill is larger than Burnleys? How? we have about 15 fit pros - they must be all on 100k per week to spend the 90 mill sky money
