Aluko has been great when recently coming off the bench and that has generally always been the case. Problem is that when given a start he is usually pants so for me should be left as 'super sub'.
When that one chance comes? lol, all the strikers we have have missed sitters, I wouldn't want to depend on any of them.
Anyone who really knows Hull City will know we are more likely to beat a team like Liverpool then a non league team like say Blyth Spartans.
Aluko should be out wide whenever he plays, that means he has one thing to think about, providing service to the strikers. Give him too much time to think his head explodes
STARTING XI: McGregor, Odubajo, Dawson, Davies, Robertson, Snodgrass, Huddlestone, Livermore, Clucas, Diamé, Aluko Lets hope he's right.
I've put a few quid on us on that basis, we tend to do well against the better teams and slip up v the likes of them and Rotherham United
No Meyler or Hayden tonight then at all, does this mean he might bring Maguire on in a new role later in the match
Can't see many goals in that side. Mind, can't see many goals in any side we put out so WTF, give it a go. Come on Sone, roll back the years. As you where last time we were in this position. When you were good. UTT.
I hope we're not going to pump hopeful balls into the middle hoping Aluko's going to win an aerial battle - but we probably will
Who is going to get on the end of crosses in that line up ? and that's the only way we seem to attack
Why the **** is aluko starting up top over Hernandez when he was so effective out wide against Forest? Maybe Bruce is hoping to put a rocket up Hernandez but it better bloody work and not just piss him off.
Aluko in the side? I'm down with that. He's looked good the last couple of appearances. Diame in the side? Load of ****.
Aluko is all bluster and little end product...most frustrating City player I have seen in ages. Greedy when he shouldn't be and 2 yards short when a chance comes along. He'll probably have Sky raving about him and miss a couple of sitters. At least with Hernandez there is some sort of goal threat, although i accept he hasn't been playing well generally. No midfielder on the bench seems a bit 'brave'...**** knows what happens if Livermore breaks down
Advantage M'bro then, what the heck does that say when the leading scorer in one of our biggest games is benched, mental advantage to them. I know Abel hasn't played at his best the last few games, but how is Diame still there? Aluko, is more sub material surely. But, hope they prove me wrong.
