Still a chance Playoffs more realistic need goals Brucey. Could have walked this league with better attacking strategy. Should have walked it with the personal. It's Glaringly obvious to every fan and pundit that we are the best team from a squad point of view in the league. Ok it doesn't guarantee being champions but Bruce is under achieving with the personal he has at hand. Give that team to 70% of the leagues manager's and we'd be champions. we can still easily catch boro and Brighton but maybe it's time to try and better 7th place and lower expectation level
Roofe, another player we supposedly scouted, is having an outstanding season and will cost an arm and a leg. Why not gamble on more young unproven players? Young, hungry players: Robertson, Maguire, Odubajo, Clucas Foreign gambles: Proschwitz, Gedo, Sagbo, N'Doye, Diomande How much did that first bracket cost us compared to the second? The same maybe (because of Moses)? Or less? How about their comparative outputs?
Well, I've mentioned loads of times on here but I'm still pretty pissed off we didn't try and sign Bentley from Southend as our future number 1 instead of Kuciak who hasn't played yet. Again, mentioned before, but Sam Morsy would have added a bit of steel and leadership to our midfield.
Maybe we should forget automatic and spend the next 9 games focusing on trying to find some form for the playoffs...try a fee different things and who knows what could happen.
I'm not stewing now because I've got used to this incompetence. What's the point having hope in Bruce's teams, it's questionable to me if even some players believe in it.
we won't get top 2 it's bruce.. his teams always **** last 1/3 of the season.. we WILL be lucky to finish in the play offs
For longer then I remember I have been saying Bruce is a crap manager who lives on a non existent reputation. But there has been times where I have looked at the players and felt sorry for him because they aren't performing, but tonight it stunk of a team who don't want to play for him! He has no idea what so ever, and his constant crap he keeps coming out with is embarrassing! Unfortunately there is as much chance of me winning the lottery as there is of Bruce getting sacked! And there lies the problem, if we don't get promotion and he gets sacked we then lose majority of our players and turn into a mid table at best team, if we somehow get promoted he stays in charge and gets us relagated with his ****e style of play! We can't win
Brucie prepared to fail today - he got all his excuses out before the match talking about getting the game out of the way before the international break, the ludicrous schedule, tired players - hardly a rallying call from the Manager - hardly inspirational - no motivation and no idea - Brucie has totally dried up - he hasn't a ****ing clue - for the good of Hull City, please **** off
Said it as soon as I watched his presser, his attitude was pathetic and the players can't have any confidence in him. That our owners don't recognise when a manager loses the dressing room is even worse.
I saw a couple of things today that were disturbing. I saw selfishness in front of goal when there were players, unmarked, in a better position, putting their arms out as if to say "Why didn't you pass" - this does not bode well for 'teamwork' which is what the basis of scoring goals is all about. Players swearing at each other - this again is not a very good sign and suggests to me that all is not well with this team. Sorry state of affairs really yet we remain in contention but only just.
Best atmosphere at a city away game this season. + So close to getting a well deserved point. + Elmo seems to be getting good at blasting it over the bar. - Man of the match for me was the city supporters. + Stewards throw fans out before kick off for singing loud on the concorse. - Ok someone let a smoke bomb off but the lads who got lobbed out were not the ones who did it. - Got a lift back to filey from a great lad who Lives in brid when coach got back to Hull so i didnt have to sleep in the juniors play house in Hull and get the train back on saturday. + It really was a great away day despite losing ( yep iv most likely said all this already )
Except that according to Giggs and pretty much everyone at United, Powell is a striker. Bruce is the one playing him out of position, which is the ultimate irony.
No, he started him as a striker recently. All he kept doing was dropping deep into midfield. He's just not a striker, plus he's injured so it's of little relevance.
