You don`t need to change a side that is 3-0 up, you make changes when its a draw or you are losing. Allsop was told to kick every ball long while we have no one who can win the ball in the air. The players looked totally confused in the 2nd half because they were told to kick the ball anywhere and not to make any tackles in and around the penalty area. Still we were long odds to win this and we certainly played like Liverpool and Man City who by the way never dominate for the full 90 mins.
Morrison appears to say the team was told after they could have kept playing the same way in the second half, who is in charge Morrison or the players?

“Unaccustomed to being 3 up away from home syndrome.”

Can’t imagine it’ll happen again any time soon.<whistle>

Saw a snippet of the 'brough game earlier.
There was a clip of Wilder out of his technical area and in SMs, pushing chest to chest with him.
4th official pushes Wilder back then ref books him and SM.
No idea why SM was booked. Just seemed to be minding his own business when Wilder had a go at him.

Different topic, but just saw Harris interviewed on the city website.
Quite insightful.
Spoke well, smile on his face, complimenting SM on his coaching and new style. Praising others and saying where he needs to improve.
Seemed a grounded individual.

I think Morison nudging the ball away, towards our subs bench and preventing a quick throw is what started the kerfuffle with Wilder.

Daft really as it wasn't like he hoofed the ball down the touchline or anything, he just didn't stop it. To be fair to him, from memory his first touch was never great anyhow so it was probably a natural reaction :emoticon-0111-blush:emoticon-0131-angel
