Would like to see Schneiderlin and Chaplow start this game... don't think it will happen but I think it's a better attacking option creatively and think they have enough quality to deal with Walsall defensively particularly with Lallana and Chamberlain.

Hope to see a quick tempo game with Guly starting and Barnard on after 60 mins.

Think this is as close as a must win game as you can get for autos - if we don't win it means you start having to get wins at places like Charlton or Bournemouth - I think we needed to get 5-6 points from this, Rochdale and Hartlepool to make up ground and drawing at Hartlepool puts pressure on these other two fixtures - drawing or losing this will create enormous pressure on the Rochdale game as you really don't want to be going to Dean Court or The Valley needing a win.

Not to mention our struggles at home!

I think this will be a much tougher game than people think. If Lambert, Lallana, Chamberlain etc are on form we should win this but I think this is going to be a game we're going to have to grind out a result. Maybe a 1-0 or 2-1 win hopefully.

Does anyone know how many fans we'll have there. I would have thought around 1500

I'd agree with that. Chaplow didn't have the best of games against Swindon and Hartlepool so I think its fair that he would drop to the bench. He can adapt very quickly to the tempo of a game, so he is a potential game changer on the bench.

    Matt-SFC ..

You hit the nail on the head.. It wont be a easy one at all!! But with Lambert showing his form is back looks promising come Tuesday!

No idea on the numbers we taking up there: all I know we had 4 Coaches booked with Travel Club (when I booked my tickets online - 3/4 Weeks ago)

    We'll be fine imo.

Barnard must start , although I think he would anyway , he surely will because of Guly's knock.

We must be sound defensively , no errors and try and break them down quickly.

    3-1 win COYS.

Whilst not over confident I do expect us to make a good fist of it on Tuesday night. We should be better prepared now and a ouple of strong dis[lays by our midfield should see us home safe and sound.

Reid has gone to Oldham mate.

I'm going for a 2-2 draw btw, but it does depend which Walsall side turn up, if we play like we have for the last 2 games you'll win 2 or 3 nil.

if we are genuine promotion contenders then we must be looking for a 2 - 0 win, even away from home. Walsall will be fighting hard for the points, so we will need to treat them with respect, but should have enough for the 3 points.

It is a game on paper that Saints should win easily, likewise Pompey's match against Scunny at FP. However, we are getting to that stage of the season where the teams at the bottom are scrapping for their lives in their respective divisions.

Whilst your prime attention will be going to Saints performance but more importantly the result, no doubt you will look over your shoulders at other results and ones of interest like Nigel's former club ,against us.

Midweek fixtures often throw up surprise results and I expect some tomorrow evening. I am hopeful of a good result for us, likewise you will expect a good result .

Who knows, I will however, predict a draw for both sides as neither want to really play on a cold Tuesday night after the weekend's successful results!
