Thats a record Harry is trying very hard to break. We need at least 10 to 12 points away from home. At the moment we are miles away from that total. Swansea deserved a point , we sat back again on a slender lead and this time it hurt us big time
As has been stated above, the fact that other lower placed teams are showing fight and the ability to take points away ( even against the bigger teams ) is what worries/galls me. Our attitude away from home has disgusted/ befuddled me all season long. If we start showing fight and cohesive play with genuine, hopeful tactics and pick up a few wins and draws away from home I believe we will stay up. If this current mentality persists then I think we are stuffed.
He is certainly not . Yesterday with a bit better luck he would have scored twice. He had at least three good goalscoring opportunies and headed one against the post. Then if he dont have any goalscoring chances in a match you could start worrying. He'll be just fine and will score 20 goals for us if he just stays healthy enough.
I think we are in deep trouble. The managerial changes at West Brom and Palace will most likely see those clubs move away from the bottom whilst Burnley and Leicester have started picking up points and Hull won yesterday. Yes, we have 'easier' away games to come, but we also have tougher home fixtures. I can't see us staying up unless something changes, and the change should be the manager IMO. Hoddle and Sir Les to take over until the end of the season for me.
As I said in another thread, I really feel that we're better than at least 3 teams in this league. I think we're probably better than more, on paper and in performance. So, I think we will stay up this season unless things really conspire against us. Don't you fearful ones remember what team you support? This is QPR... we've seen it all. What are you afraid of? But I genuinely thing we have what it takes to beat 3+ teams to the line.
Fair play AWJM. I probably agree with you. But could you make an attempt to name the possible 3 teams we're better than?
TBH it's too close to call and I think our run in with 3 of the last 4 games away is not going to help us.....
Things change. Everybody were ready to send Burnley to championship long before christmas and Leicester too. Now they have started to fight for their ilves and suddenly we are in trouble! Im certain that we will win couple away matches this season and couple matches at home too. It will be intresting second half of the season.....
It just appears that way. We are currently 8th in the table for points gained from a losing position. I think the problem is that we fall behind in so many games. I would agree totally if we were talking about away games only.
