Aye that's him Billy. No doubt Macdonald is now looking for another 'puppet' to represent Sunderland. I bumped into Slaven a few years back and told him to check texts emails the show had read out in a 12 month period all pro mag anti sunderland. I must admit to have listened to a few broadcasts on star and I particularly like their 'we are not geordies' link. Maybe they could go to East Durham and tell that to the plakka mags who are under the deluded illusion that they are nags for some reason. However, they do have another link that is really embarrassing trying to promote their breakfast show. Finally, I think Macdonald's biased will see the end of that show altogether.

Apparently the "three legends" is now a company owned by Macdonald. Think this probably happened after they left Real Radio. This show died when Gates left (or was pushed) as he was the only one who said it like it was and called a spade a spade. Macdonald was just on an ego trip. The thing that got me was Gates was the only genuine fan of the club he was representing. Macdonald was a cockney who had very little affinity with the north east and Slaven is a self confessed Celtic fan!

Another reason I dislike Maconald was during the late 80's I needed Man City to score 5 to win the buster and thought OH well there is maybe an outside chance as they are at home to Huddersfield managed by the clueless Macdonald. He somehow sent his Huddersfield town team out to lose by 10 (ten) goals to one at maine road, I **** you not.
Star radio I think about 103 F M ( I marked my radio cause it is very tricky to tune into ) Bert is still on and great, they should give him the job !, or Joe Kinnear !. Mcdonald stutters to get a sentence out.

100% accurate review. Maybe it's trying to be so bad it is considered 'good' and gain a cult following for its ****ness (think Mrs Brown's Boy's). They are really struggling and if you do listen they have the same callers show after show: Colin and Frank both boro both quite funny, Eddie, Wayne both mags, both idiots, Macca, Sunderland and Hibernian, some Algerian who thinks nags will finish in the top 4 and Bert who is funny and the reason Horswill was sacked apparently. Although think he was sacked for daring to make one anti mag comment after 3 years to stupid mac.
Well I listened to this last night and it plunged to new depths. Slaven was away so Macdonald brought in a journalist from the ****test newspaper in the world (the daily mail) to talk about newcastle. The journalist referred to newcastle as 'we' like that bitch on look north does. I listened for an hour an half they had 2 callers one of them was Steve Howey who they obviously had to rope in as no one calls in. It's sort of a show that Macdonald sets himself up as an expert but he is coming across like Alan Partridge. 'Wings the band the beatles could have been'.
