Actually yes, Greenland - no **** ever goes to Greenland. I could be in the pub, Greenland would randomly come up, and I could say: "aye I've been to Greenland, it was alright" - then the fanny would think I'm amazingly well travelled.
Greenland's too easy though. Tales of being somewhere like North Korea or Syria would flutter the legs/spread the heart of anyone within earshot.
Seriously? I've never known anyone who's been. I've never even heard of celebrities going. I half suspected it was a made up place like Atlantis.

I'm in glasgow a lot, i was going to do it but my mate was a ***
Yeah - had to go over for work in 2010 and 2011. Went to the capital Nuuk first time and it was awful - a bit like a very cold wild west. Full of drunken inuits, hideously expensive and nothing to do. It was also pretty dirty to be hinest - open sewers and stuff which was nice.
Second time I went to illullisaat which is much better - it's on the edge of a huge glacier with a n ice berg in the middle so it's really picturesque. A bit moure touristy, though not much, than Nuuk and relatively better looked after. The journey's a pain too - 6 hours from Copenhagen and then 1 hour from kangalussaak international - the dabnish givernement have rigged it so that you can't fly from London to there in a day so you have to have a stopover in Copenhagen. It's great in terms of ebing able to say "I've been there" but really it is as grim as anything and boring as ****e..
