My respect for Liverpool went totally down after last season. I went to Anfield when we drew 2-2 and disgracefully after our equalizer the elbows came out from Kuyt, Gerrard and Torres. 3 great players, but I'm sorry you do not have a divine right to win any game.

Then on my way back home to London the Lime Street to Euston train was stuffed full of ex Liverpool glory hunters from the South East. I in my Sunderland shirt went through my carriage towards the buffet car and was baracaded out by some meat head scouser..again they do not have a divine right to win any game.

If it wasn't for Dalgleish last season they would have been in the mire - let's hope we embarrass them next season.

3 times Cestria - if you count the 606 post I did (which I think you may have commented on?)

PS Is Cestria a part of Chester-le-Street ?

Everton - bunch of cloggers and a horrid history that is best forgotten. The environs of the ground are much nicer than Anfield but the ground is very old fashioned. The main stand to the side of the pitch is nowt but a dirty great wooden paddock with some wooden benches squeezed in. I won't be going back to Goodison in a hurry.

Managed my first trip to Anfield last yr and was underwhelmed. The only plus was getting to chat to Benno afterwards.

After reading these posts, i'm getting a feeling that some Sunderland fans don't like us Liverpool fans...

Cestrians are indeed natives of Chester le Street (and Chester near Wales to be fair)

The clue is in my profile mind?:emoticon-0114-dull::emoticon-0100-smile

I wouldn't take it personally bud, I think we have a dislike for pretty much everyone :).

Ps Hendo will turn into a cracker with the right guidance. Good luck for next season barring your match with ourselves.

Ive got nothing against Liverpool fans but I would love it if we went and beat them the first game of the season. I think we might surprise a few team like we did Chelski last year.

I was once stood behind Micky Quinn at Lloyds Grey Street branch in the darkside, he was querying his balance he thought there should be more in the account, "No Mr Quinn, that's £75000, not £750, you can tell by the position of the decimal point", true story, honest guv.
