It might be a decent analogy for Hughton taking over from Lambert and pronouncing “you might have won back-to-back promotions from League One where this joke of a club belongs but you did it all by bloody cheating.”

How exactly do we 'belong' in League One? It was the first time we'd been there for 50 years! You're clearly not that bright. Still, hatred clouds judgement, and hatred seems to be your thing.

I like a lot of posters on here, but this guy is the saddest act I've read. It transcends banter, but hey, whatever. Don't post here often, and promise not to again. Happy days Jonah, hope whatever is eating you subsides.

Wigan / Ipswich.

MM would be off like a shot IF Wigan want him, only i doubt very much IF wigan would go for someone as poor as Mad Mick.

Mick McCarthy isn't a poor Manager in all respect though is he?

I honestly was wanting him to be our Manager before the news came out that Bruce was appointed. He also clearly turned Ipswich's fortunes around.

Just lazy journalism to fill up the Sports Column. Don't read too much into it. Steve Bruce has already said getting us into the Premier League is his greatest achievement so far. When he was appointed, it was a 3 year project to get us back into the Premier League, he managed to do it in his first year, and is now back where he believes he should be (the top flight).

He's mentioned that he thought he'd struggle to manage a Premier League team again after his Sunderland exit, and he's got back there with us. Why would he leave again? Dead story.

They'll end up appointing another Championship Manager IMO.
