Making lots of noise today that he’s a serious contender for the vacancy.
Sincerely hope so. It would be nice if the club would rubbish the rumours. It's ****e - he'd be nuts to leave after a third of a season in his first job. You listen to him speak and he's totally invested in the project with us. Total click bait bullshit
Of course it is pal, if Villa sack Gerrard he'd be in the top 3 in the betting, its all crap. They have Nuno as their desperation number 1 choice and no idea on any one else. One thing Beale ain't is stupid, he's just started in his 1st managerial job and knows he has a helluva lot to learn. He has aspirations but knows they are way off at the moment.****ing hope so.
I wish I had the confidence of you earlier posters that this is mere click-bait. The story has now reached The Times:
"Wolves: Peter Bosz and Michael Beale in talks to replace Bruno Lage

Wolverhampton Wanderers are in talks with Peter Bosz and Michael Beale over the vacant manager’s job.
Wolves are looking for a replacement for Bruno Lage, who was sacked earlier this month after a poor run of results left the side in the relegation zone.
The Times understands the club have a three-man shortlist with Bosz, who has previously managed at Borussia Dortmund and Ajax, and was sacked by Lyon earlier this month, Queens Park Rangers manager Beale and the former Wolves manager Nuno Espírito Santo all under consideration.
Sources said it was unlikely Nuno would make a return to the club and, while they spoke to former defender Rob Edwards, it is understood that despite being highly regarded he is not a favourite to take the position.
Beale, who left his role as assistant at Aston Villa earlier this year, signed a three-year contract with QPR in June, which would mean Wolves would have to pay a high level of compensation...."
Nah, just needs to lose a few games on the trot, which we are well capable of, and no one will be interested in him. Problem solved!Beale avoided answering the question on whether he would turn down an offer if an approach was made. He also said he'd had no "direct" contact, which rather implies there had been contact through an agent. He emphasized he is very happy at QPR at the moment but has made no secret of his ambition to manage at a higher level.
Sounds like we have to hope Clubs like Wolves, Villa, Glasgow Rangers and others who maybe looking for a new Manager will choose more experienced candidates this season, and underlines our need to go up with him to the PL next season - a tough ask still.
