Well, the thread is about his ankles, and they were clearly working O.K. at one time.

Lest we forget just how good he was.

Was but is no more Libby. Got any vids of Trundle, he's more a Jack hero than Michu I suggest.

Loved that video, Lib. No wonder he's got bad ankles with the number of times he leathered the crap out of the hoardings.

Interesting how many were set up by the much maligned JDG as well. We're missing a quality crosser of the ball right now imo.

Not sure Stumpy. Some players blossom with us but fade away elsewhere. Have to say though that his displays for us last season showed disinterest and a lack of application.

    That's my point buddy.

I judge him over his time with us, 2 seasons, and I wont forget his attitude last year and his desperation to leave us. This, for me anyway, negates anything that went before.

Personally, I never want to see him in a Swansea shirt again. Its a flaw in my character I know but, I don't forget a slap to the face and I wont forgive it either. That's why I'd grasp the 50p we'd get for him now with both hands.

Taking last season's body language into account, I find it hard to believe that he'll be here next season. If Napoli don't want him and he ends up back in Swansea, I think he'll most likely get on the blower to some folks back home in Spain to set up him a move. The majority of Swansea fans would still want a fit Michu, but I don't think he feels the same.

Considering how long his ankle injuries have hindered him for, I'd be surprised if Michu ever gets back to 100%. If he somehow manages to fully shake the injury, age will already be catching up with him.

Michu will always be in Swansea's history books, but I don't think we'll see him on the team sheet again, at least not week-in, week-out.

Is that the player who failed miserably at Bristol & came back as Huw's cheap answer to our striker problem ... and failed again?

I soooooooo wish he would come back with the hunger, determination and skill he had in that first season - that video is awesome.

Absolutely agree on this. What a loss to us that version of Michu was.

A character but league 1 at best.
Good for our profile and getting kids involved. Did he have name as well as image rights?

Some of the goals he scored were breathtaking. I loved the look of shock, and incredulity on Wenger's face. Classic.
