he never mentioned £30 million at all....Its like martinez once said that one of his players was worth £7 million..<laugh> Tongue in cheek comment...

what will be will be but don't be so deluded that mishu is here because he loves it here...He will go where the money is and if we cant or wont pay him mega bucks then he will go to whoever will pay him, Thats what footballers aim for today....Money, I think he is worth between £25 and £30 million but that dont mean we will get anywhere near that in todays market when everyone is cutting down...

Martinez comment was about a non scoring striker, who couldn't even make it in the Championship, and that was, a load of bull! But Laudrup's comment is on the money, and if Joe Allen is worth £15 Million as a none scoring midfielder, then go figure Dai, how much a scoring midfielder like Michu will eventually command, I think he's easily worth £25 Million, at this level.

I also agree with Ivor over 'Brenda the tea lady' she's proving to be a right scrubber, if you ask me. Hope Huw shows her the door, we are in no need of selling our best talent, Michu and the rest of the squad are securing another £60 Million pot of gold again this year, why risk such capital gain for the clubs advancement, and growth! Yes he will go eventually, but I trust Huw to stick out for Laudrups valuation of £30 Million, that should keep him here for a few seasons at least! As for Liverpool, they are yester year's team, why would he want to go there...............<cheers>

Have a look at this Dai, it`s in Danish.
    http://tinyurl.com/c9jpuvv

But it appears it`s at least £25 million.

We can take what liverpool paid for Joe Allen, and if the price for Michu then is twice that, then there aren't many clubs that can afford it"

"You more or less know what they paid for him, but a guy who has scored many goals must be a lot more worth"

But as you have said on many occasions dai, it`s up to the player involved, and Michu has turned down offers before if he prefers it where he is already.

He wont close the door on his mate for gods sake <laugh> Dont you realise that Brendan must do his very best for liverpool football club now???...If the rolls were reversed then we would expect laudrup to do the same .... Its not brendans fault that they can afford to pay more in wages than we can is it....you have to be realistic and realize we have a special player in michu and he will command a higher wage that what we can afford to pay...thats football my friend and we will just have to move on and find more gems.....

I repeat "Huw may well be friendly with rodgers but our club maintaining and progressing in the PL I would think far out weigh a "friendship". Huw is accountable to us not to rodgers"

Daitw*ts off again ! If Huw was 'friends' with Brenda, why would he trust him after the way the last snake from Ireland acted before? Total crap from Dai, again, Huw would not jeopardise Swansea's future!

    Business ' my arse '!

Lets be honest here, No swans fans want michu to go anywhere but the realism is he can earn a lot more with certain clubs and thats why we will always face the same problem nearly every season. Until we can break away to our own stadium and branch out with other businesses and own property training grounds, hotels etc and be as rich as some as the big clubs then we will always be a feeder and selling club. we need to earn every penny we can get to be up there with the big clubs and we cant do that sharing our stadium with everyone who uses it

Oi ! Idiot ! Don't you realise that Huw must do the best for Swansea? So please 'Mr Businessman ' explain how selling of a prized assett ranks as doing the best for our club.

I am you complete idiot ! Fcuk me 'pool haven't got a striker so they don't score goals.

We have someone who scores goals!

I know lets sell our goalscorer so we won't score goals and be as bad as Liverpool!

Nice thought but not in the realms of realism is it <doh>We cant afford to keep him, we cannot compete in the wages stakes, If we could then great but every other player at swansea will want a big pay rise...<laugh>

    How thick can you get?

How can you have a sensible debate with this arse?

Obviously Dai you have me off ignore , It's not a matter of wages at the moment pal, it's a matter of stabilising the club in the Premiere, would you give away someone who is helpin you to survive in the upper echelons with a guaranteed 60 Million plus reward at the end of it?

    Wake up you imbecile !

The bold highlights in the original article would be really ****ing annoying if they were not so comical. Deranged, delusional, and full of blarney is no way to manage a football club never mind go through life.

On a serious note though, you've got to love the sheer gutted envy of many in Premiership circles, that little old Swansea could pull off such a Coup as this, to sign the top Premiership goal scorer for a measly £2 Million, just shows what a farce we are making of all this over rated so called talent that's flopsing about in the Premiership! We'll leave it to the Liverspuds of this world to pay the ridiculous fees for players, Jenkins will have the Swansea war chest over flowing within a few more seasons in the Premiership, and growth will come, you'll see, the Jacks are here for the long run.............<cheers>

But we won't be if we sell michu will we?

Yet some ( I'll be polite ) posters on here can't seem to understand that we can get say 20 mill for selling the premier leagues top scorer now or at least 60 mill if we don't and stay up at the end of the season! FACT the fcuking <doh>

It don't work like that does it.....If Brendan is willing to pay big bucks for michu then we will sell, Its as simple as that and no amount of wishful thinking or delusion will stop that....we cannot compete with the wages these top sides can give players of michu's caliber...what part of that cant you grasp....Whatever anyone thinks we are a small club and a selling club to the big boys....What do you think he would do ???? stay with us for a good wage or go to one of the glamour clubs for mega wages and a better chance of winning things.....<doh> not much of a decision to make there then is there...what would you do??? <laugh>
