Judging by how our board kicked up a fuss when its top earners Ki and Bony were mostly on the bench i somehow dont see them signing another top earner to do the same. Thankfully it is silly season but this Michu situation is a bit dis-heartning , ditto Pozuelo and Canas,those two can do a perfectly good job for us also. Anyway its the good ship Monk now and at least the board are backing him all the way( which helps when you have a say on where your spending your money as opposed to just signing the cheques)

I have to say I am with you on this. i think we keep him. How desperate are we for the money. If we are then we have to sell him. If we are not then he should be kept, I believe he will find his scoring boots again and get fit. I hope that is with us. If he doesnt it is not the end of the world financially. I dont want him to do it with anotherPL club. They will be in direct competition with us to remain in the league. They dont need a leg up from us in this battle.

But when you factor in what Norway has suggested about not being happy and the injury being a smoke screen, I'd rather take the £10million and ship him out and buy somebody like Gylfi if the relationship is beyond repair. That along with possible jury concerns tell me at this moment in time, keeping him is a bigger risk than selling him.
Not at the moment he isn't after the injury hit season he had. He needs to have a repeat of his first season to go back to this value.
Im not being funny but Norway talks a lot of bollox sitting there in another country, Michu was full of smiles interacting with his team mates the last time the trained. He is pissed off with himself for missing his chance of playing in the WC and that is to be expected. It will be foolish to sell such a gifted player as michu is when he is reported fit. Bony could well go before the season starts and if we sell michu as well then we have lost our two best players in a season. there is no need to sell michu as we need him ourselves. Remember no club would offer to buy michu if they had not checked his medical records first and as £6-£10m has been quoted then that tells a story that Michu is fit again....
