We were in with a chance of a result at Anfield and Napoli, nobody complained about Monk's ability then, nor after the games against Cardiff and Stoke.
I think you'll find several Valley. Anyway I said yesterday that it seems that no matter how good the opposition are - we seem to be not quite as good as them. Our performance levels seem to depend on the quality of the opposition, and we fall short. Liverpool - they were slightly better than us, but so were WBA etc. Same goes for Napoli.
Actually, I did. Was against playing the 1st team at Anfield and said so beforehand. Also felt the substitutions against Napoli away were abysmal I also disagreed with the way we set up at Everton in the F.A. Cup...and the substitutions. Also the lack of tactical nous and poor subs in the second half at home to Palace. Really, it's only the Cardiff game, Napoli at home and a battling point away to Stoke that I was fine with his decisions. 3 games out of 8. With Laudrup I could virtually always see the logic at work in his decision making....and I believe 'Swanselona' spelt out on here earlier how Laudrup's results were better also. Gaffer Monk is not for me whether we stay up or not.
