This has the makings of a great football story. Johnson, shaken by being dropped by City, spends 3 months training like Rocky to get back into shape and then signs for his beloved Leeds United. Showing the form of his life, he helps Leeds win promotion to the Premier League on the last day of the season. The following year, Johnson, now Leeds captain, is voted PFA Player of the Year and becomes a staple at the heart of the England midfield. In the summer of 2014 he is one of the standout players at 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Later that year he turns down a bid of £100m from Real Madrid in order to stay at Leeds and take part in their Champions League campaign.

Whats worse, Sven signed him knowing he was nowhere near match fit, took ages to get him match fit, then after a few appearances, Sven got sacked and was never going to appear in a Pearson team if he couldn't last 90 mins.
