Ponders, you're not going to believe this. Among several e-mails I've got from somewhat disgruntled Blades (and somewhat less disgruntled Owls) supporters from Head Office today, one said "Why is your coffee so disgusting? Chucked it away and got a hot chocolate instead. Bad mistake, as it was difficult to detect any chocolate in it at all." I can feel a petition coming on...
You see, Tewks, total vindication! It really is a poor advert for our stadium's coffee if Yorkshire folk are criticising the quality of the beverage. Therefore, action must be taken, and taken sooner rather than later. I refuse to ever take a flask to a public gathering - I just won't stoop that low. I charge you with sorting this matter out, Tewks. I know I can trust you to garner the optimum outcome.
It just seems strange to me that clubs are desperate for fans to arrive early and drink at The Valley before the game...then can't wait for everyone to clear off afterwards! It's not as if the ground closes immediately. Wouldn't there be left over food as well?
Bartrams is excellent, I prefer to go after the game, also they do good meals during the week, worth trying.
