Just seen a tweet that he's in charge for our first game of the season. What's the betting there will be some 'dubious/contentious' decisions made by him??? :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Yes but they r all the same never see a game as well as the fans lol he is as likely to screw Fulham as he is us as long as we never see Andy again!

I think Oliver is OK.

Certainly no worse than Friend,Probert,Clattenburg,Marriner etc etc do I need to go on?

All refs are prone to errors, some just seem to be "star struck" at times.

might go against the grain here but personally i agree with yarco and more so, think oliver is the best young ref around by a million miles. yes he has screwed us over on a couple of occasions but he's not personally against us - its just bad luck/coincidence. i've seen enough now to think that he'll be the very top referee in world football one day <ok>

Mentioned this to a friend of mine who informed me that Michael Oliver was the ref when we beat Spurs 2-1 last season, so hope the result is the same when we play Fulham on Saturday

Exactly Jedi, the poor bloke is on a hiding to nothing. if you win nothing will be said, if you lose i bet you it will be his fault according to you lot.

If we win, of course nothing will be said, just like every single other football fan in this country would do if their team won. If we lose and it appears that Oliver was at fault for that, then we, like every other single fan would complain.

That's what football fans do<doh>
