If players aren't good enough, no longer fit in or have the wrong attitude then let them go. However, why are some people so angry with players who are squad members and have done a job for us on occasions? If they read one of these boards you could not blame them for moving on. The only one who appears to deserve any animosity is Lita as he was arrested for being an arse and does seem to have attitude issues. Not sur the others deserve a slagging,

Steven Caulker got arrested. Doesn't seem to be much animosity about him?

Love your optimism but who is he going to replace in the starting XI to get game time? Realistically.
That's why I suggest a loan, he's at the stage where he needs to prove himself...consistently, maybe your right about the recall option, but that would mean we're likely to have to cover all/more of his wages.

His situation is one of the more interesting in the squad. Will be interesting to see what Laudrup can do for him.

Strange that, lone, because whilst he didn't have the best of times in the Championship, I heard many a commentary at away games where the commentators were singing his praises. Don't think they were all wrong.

I've always thought that Orlandi would be better suited to the PL and I would like to see him given the chance to prove it. If he succeeds it's win, win, for the club and the player. If he doesn't succeed, be it through lack of ability, being injury prone, or whatever, then, like any other player, he should be shown the door. But I believe that he should be given his chance. Not too much to ask is it?

By the way, I shouldn't regard a "large number of people" having an opposing point of view to you, as "worrying". Did it ever occur to you that this large number of people have good reason to think the way they do and that they may be right and you wrong? Just a thought......

Have to say I do like Orlandi, yes he's done bugger all for the last year. But having seen him play against Villa and Wolves he did look like a player who when having time on the ball, which you do get in the PL, can play a bit. Now with having a manager who, I feel will look at him and will be able to get him playing, he might very well fill the Siggy slot! All we then have to do, is to get him fit and to stay fit.
