As you can see, his hair is fair to moderate, slightly below Pogba but obviously likely to improve the more he is linked with us. If it helps with the chant he was born in Acapulco.

A good stop gap replacement for Carrick would be Bastian Schweinsteiger. He's 3 years younger than Carrick, hugely experienced and is still a class act. His current club would never let him go though.

Transfer rumour in the Sun rag: Toure to United in the summer?
Would we want him as a squad member? Looking at his form, he has not been impressive lately: lack of energy and not dominating matches like he did 3 years ago.

Wouldn't touch him with a barge-pole, way past his best. he simply can't be arsed to move house so he is touting around the local area.....Liverpool might take him.

Yaya? Why would you want him - you have a big lump in the middle in Fellani already.

On current form, Fellaini would be disgusted to be compared to Toure.

I just wondered whether he could do a job coming on after 60' if we are pushing against a massed defence.

"Next step is for Chelsea to pay Monaco more than anybody else for the midfielder"

I though Netspendski will never again need to pay more than anyone else for any player ever?

    Champions of FFP my arse...

Well they kind of are, they will sell 10 or 12 loaned out players to make up half the fee of anyone they buy so in scouser language their "net spend" is quite low. This does not take into account the 10 or 12 assets they have lost, it just assumes that half of the money came from nowhere :emoticon-0100-smile

No chance. At his best and when he was in the mood he was almost unstoppable. He's now an unfit, lazy bastard.

Cannot argue with that. May be he'll decide to put some more effort playing for the better team in Manchester <whistle>

I doubt Giggs, Butt, Scholes and Neville want him at Salford City either.

The Spuds Eric Dier being touted in the press today as a possible replacement for Carrick. Not sure our feeder club would want to part with him, but he would be a perfect fit for us rather than all these wannabees from other European leagues.
