....really is a useless, nasty player. Thought he should have walked for a two footed tackle when he was already on a yellow for persistently taking Deano and Cork out. As the commentator said - will cost Leeds a lot of points playing like that, added to the fact that hes a skate, all adds up to being a thoroughly disagreeable, talentless player!
Worst player on the pitch by a long way, I didn't see him do anything good or positive. The challenge on Jack Cork he didn't have eyes for the ball at all, and you could see him kick him after the ball had gone.
As I said on the match thread, Leeds will be worse off with him in their team. Nothing more than a dirty hacker. If you want a proper defensive midfield general, then look no further than Hammond or Cork today.
Can't understand his behaviour at all...more suited for desperate last game fight against relegation. Angry man.
Worried when he didn't book their players early on, but he was consistent and controlled the game well. Didn't fall for their histrionics and the penalty was given by the lino. Mustn't get too hopeful, but perhaps refs are better at this level.
I thought refs were pretty good last year. But I am a bit of a ref geek. Today's ref was the one that gave us 2 penos against Bournemouth so I guess we still owe him one.
He's never been a good player. His whole career has been based around pissing other people off. He's like Joey Barton without any kind of talent.
Nasty ugly little twat i can always tolerate a hard man player if they can play ie Graeme Souness, JimmyCase and even Roy Keane as they all achieved great things but this guy is just the cowardly sly type who offers very little other than sticking in the shoe normally from behind hes probably a skate legend
I'd happily run over his face with a tank. Grayson only took him off to prevent him being sent off...or maybe because he was sh_t.
Funny thing is so many of us pointed this out on the match thread, when the topic of Brown playing first emerged. For some strange reason, certain Leeds fans thought he was pretty much the final piece of the puzzle; the workhorse who'd allow their attacking talent to flourish. Maybe they're still living in 2003, when he was relatively ok for Sheff Utd (but a very different foootballer to what he is now!).
He was shocking, dirty and had four (I was counting) bad fouls in first half hour and only got booked for dissent Ref was poor. Not strong enough but also gave us some soft free kicks while missing the GBH assaults on our strikers
