Don't agree with what you just wrote but I can't be fuucked to argue with you either. Yep agree about Appleton and the players won't be giving him any ****. Fact he's come through United's academy he's had the best education and he must be close to Shakey and have his trust.
It seems Champions of England is no more popular on your board than he is on ours. I don't really think it matters who Shakey appoints, they're both likely to be gone by January anyway.
He used to be a good contributer, I suppose winning the league went to his head. What makes you think that?
I don't think your owners ever planned on giving Shakey the job permanently, but after he did okay, they had little option. They contacted us in early April for clarification of Silva's contract situation, I don't think it will take much of a wobble to see him gone.
Well, looking at our first 6 fixtures, a wobble may be possible. Or there again ..............................
Attempting to predict anything when it comes to us is futile. Relegation certainties to Premier League Champions, back to the relegation zone but Champions League Quarter Finalists....it's never dull. Historically our owners have never been too trigger happy, they stood by NP when we wobbled in the Championship & PL. A few bad results haven't previously caused them to react, the possible difference with Ranieri was the off field discord.
Nobody is saying that you're not allowed to have reasonable debate. It's just the way you went off on one when a few Hull fans suggested we might struggle next season. I was keeping my eye on that thread and I noticed you weren't being very civil and I've seen it a few time on here recently when you've had disagreements. I don't have proof as your posts have been deleted over there, but I certainly don't recall you being very kind about Hull's relegation. Disagreements are fine, we're all here to have reasoned debate. But just keep in mind that nobody is here to be called names or to be spoken to like children.
I think ypu also need to make some allowances for the fact that the Hull lads were not best pleased with Nigel Pearson's antics in leaving them to come back to us ... hence there is possibly a hint of wishful thinking in any prediction about how we might do in any given season ... plus we do have previous. Add to that the fact only Leicester fans will watch us week in and out and you can see how it builds into a case for us possibly struggling ... football certainly isn't a game where rational thought always prevails. Rational thought would suggest that the 3 teams that have come up will have to improve significantly to survive ... it would also suggest that given our form under Shakespeare's tenure and allowing for the impact of injuries (and some questionable referreing decisions e.g Man City away) there really is no reason that we can't be up there competing with Everton for the right to break into the top 6 ... we are capable of finishing above every other club. for sure
Yeah that was well after you'd all been acting like knobheads when I was trying to have sensible debate. I never said anything derogatory about Hull until I lost my shiitt at some idiot saying I know nothing about Leicester before the last two years. Well get fuucked, you can expect a response like that every time!! I also had one guy genuinely asking and I was having a chat with him while the rest were telling me to fuuck off for talking about Leicester, which I wouldn't have had they not been slagging us off. My response was to say why it was a good move and I didn't say fuuck all about Hull! You'd been goading me and telling me to fuuck off for a long night while before I bit back so maybe have a think about your own actions before you stand high and mighty because you have an extemely short and selective memory!
Mate genuinely and I ain't talking shiitt here at all, I was completely normal when I first started talking to them. I explained why it was a good move, I told them about our five year plan and explained the reason we struggled last season was because of Ranieiri's tactics and I told them how much money we had. Never at any point whilst saying any of that did I rub it in their faces or say anything remotely derogatory about Hull. That's an absolute fact!! So while I'm trying to be normal I'm getting told to fuuck off for talking about Leicester, which I wouldn't have had they not slagged us off. I've also got one bloke genuinely interested and not a green eyed monster, he actually likes the idea of a smaller club pushing the top six, just one of them mind but I was responding to him. While this is going on I've got some dickhead telling me I'm not a proper fan and I don't know anything prior to the last two seasons when Pen 2 used to be mine alone back in the 80's and I've been to well over 900 games, missing only three home games between 4 and 17. Then I bit back and what you see there is a good half an hour to an hour of goading beforehand! So it's better to have the full story and the context before making any judgement, they acted like pricks to me and bit back, simple as that. As I say I'm reactive to others behaviour, if you're alright with me I'll be alright with you otherwise I'll be a cuunt! If you want to keep an eye on that you'll see exactly what I mean and when and why my tone changes. I know myself extremely well.
I don't mind you having a row with everyone on this board, but does your language have to be so obscene?
Actually I agree, that was down to a Hull fan having a go at me because I didn't swear properly. I'll revert back to type now you've pointed it out.
