Micah Richards...Should we buy him?

Discussion in 'Liverpool' started by Molby...The Pass Master, Mar 7, 2014.

  1. Prefer Richards out of the two but would rather we got neither

Main problem is his fitness. That aside, yes. Still think the left side is our main area of worry as enrique is still injured and cissy is leaving after this season.

Well..... It's pointless taking on a sick note, we all I think agree on that so is he a guy who's a sick note or is he going to prove his fitness one day soon

5mil? Would he play rb or cb

  4. I said a couple of things higher up on this thread:

    and

I don't mind us signing injury prone players if we are confident of putting a plan in place to manage it (Man Utd did this with RvP before Moyes rip up the schedule by sacking the staff behind it). But too many is a negative effect, especially once back in Europe when we can't afford to rest players inbetween games!

i would add king to that as well, always thought spurs had some decent CB's, but they could never keep them fit, thank ****.

I wouldn't touch Micah Richards. Good player but far too injury prone and we already have enough injury prone defenders on our books.

No, hes had a few chances and never stepped up, given a couple of years run in a team he might come good but if city can't afford him that time neither can we.

He used to be a man child but he never grew into the player a lot of people expected, I think we could do better for that money even if he would only cost about seven mil or so.
