Need to sign him at least for the season on loan!

On another hopeful loan/January signing. Stockdale starting for Fulham today, Schwarzer's got a neck injury <doh> let's hope he has a stinker ;)

I think the positive thing about this is that DM seems to like the lads/gaffer here... so if there is a chance of a loan or perm signing of him then we'd be favourite purely on the basis that he'd like to come back here...
SO depending on what sunderland do in january we may see him again for important games in the last stretch...

Completely won me over today, if there was any doubts. He offers us something completely different in midfield - he isn't our best passer, but he certainly can keep up with Aluko, Quinn, Koren etc...

What he does is break up the play in midfield, whilst also making excellent runs in to the box. Dare I say... Viera-ish?

Really hope that we can keep him.

Would love to see him sign for us. He seems to be growing in stature with every game.

He does everything well, and he scores goals. Had he not been banned for the Leicester game, we'd have won. He seems to bring balance and composure. Brilliant.

Meyler is the full article for me. He's got everything in his locker.

He defends, puts challenges in, is good on the ball, makes runs that strikers should be making into the box, is good on the ball, can head etc etc.

    We need him permanently IMO.

And the Allams chequebook continues to grow... ;)
