Rumours that started through twitter.

...the same people on twitter are still suggesting the deal is on course to happen. Seemed to fool everyone but I think you'll agree that Nigel would be the last man in the world to get caught up in the world of speculation.

Nigel himself dispanded the rumour when asked about it in interviews.

 

I listen to his interviews on the radio on the way home and then watch the goals on the 'goals express'.

Rarely stay up to midnight to watch 5 seconds of highlights.

I'll see it if we're the chosen game. But that's a rarity now we're not top of the league.

 

Still, it's always nice to hear that rival fans covet our (future) players.

Meyler has looked a decent player in the few times I have seen him. I think the reason Sunderland are letting him go is because they are sick of him being injured

 

They also see themselves as being bigger than they are, Meyler not being good enough.

Nice to know you rate him aswell. It's a shame he didn't play in the game against Leicester. We really missed him that day and he probably would have tipped the scales in our favour. These things tend to happen in 6-pointer matches though, maybe next time we'll be lucky.

Bruce is here, elmo is here, campbell or another Sunderland player could be on the way. I got no doubt he will sign. Why go somewhere else when the fans love you, you have friends playing here and we are 2nd place?

 

Not another Meyler thread ? How many do we need.? There was also talk that FC was in the west stand and having a medical today ? It must have been an imposter sat on the bench @ Bolton. Dont worry all is well.

 

Rumour of Keiron Westwood GK from Sunderland being signed up.

 

SB dismissed this yesterday in his post match interview with Burnsy, also the Robinson story saying there was no truth in it.

 

So is this deal dead? Any new news? I really thought this would have gotten complete before the Brady deal.

 

I could have swore that someone said in the summer that deals were never announced on Sundays.
