    I once fell off my scooter in Whitby on the way home from an evening do.
    Stupid cop van pulled out in front of me to tell me my headlight wasn't working...
    Girl friend in middle of road...scooter on top of Me

    18 month ban for being 3 times over the limit.

    Never touched a drop since then

    Stupid I know..

    But I use to be stupid with no sense in those days .

    ( still went on the rally's the next 18 months though )

    That was 3am in the morning..intending to drive back to Scarborough in **** weather.

    Thank f I got stopped

    You could be right, there's a local out here married to a girl from York and they scootered all the way back to the UK for an international Vespa rally about 4000 mile round trip ( they took the scenic route )

    I think that's stretching it a bit.

    Though they were certainly more reliable than Lambretta's.

    Didn't look as good though(with the exception of an early GS).

    Yes that's true lambrettas look much more classy then a vespa.....I use to hate vespas at one time till someone offered me one for a great price....I love em now.

    who would want a plastic bike that dont turn heads. My lammies and vespa turn heads wether passing by or stripping the sodding carb in the pub carpark grrrrrrr

    You would cry if you was on the back of a scooter doing 80mph down the Motorway in the pissing rain with a nasty side wind.

    Motorbikes are for smelly Rockers who darent ride on 10" or 8" wheels
