Sunderland have two tough away fixtures this week - Ipswich Town tonight and Preston North End at the weekend. Ipswich and Preston are in or around the play-offs, both will be eyeing up three points from their encounter with the current third-bottom club.

If Sunderland lose both, I would expect calls for 'Larry' to go....'shut that door' behind you on the way out. As things stand, Grayson has won one out of nine, Redknapp was sacked by Birmingham with a better record than that. Do Birmingham have more ambition than Sunderland?

 

Incidentally, SunderlandNil aren't just third bottom of the Chumpionship, they are also in 22nd place.
