Quote from Chris Coleman "There won't be any better [teams] than Mexico because they don't come any better than Mexico in international football,"...er sorry but there are..keep the faith though

I see where he's coming from mind - they might not have the best players but they play a hell of a lot more football together than European teams and they went on something daft like a 30 game unbeaten run not so long ago! Still, there are better teams...

Coleman was merely trying to diminish the loss, which is fair enough, whilst praising the opposition, which is commendable.

However,he will be deluding himself by thinking that his team were anything other than poor opposition for a worthy Mexican side.

He has much work to do, and he knows it.

Wales has too many players who are out of their depth at International level.

    Sad,but true.

Brown - made some good saves but kicked far too much ball away needlessly
Matthews - poor, needs to leave Celtic and start playing some competitive football. I'd take a chance on him if he was cheap enough
    Gunter - shocking, absolutely shocking.
    Williams - looked tired
Taylor - best defender for me.
Allen - tried as always, most effective midfielder. Hamstrung by those around him
Ramsey - As someone said earlier (sorry, on previous page), too many "Hollywood" balls. Needs to take a leaf out of Joe's book. If the two of them sat in front of the back four, working hard and concentrating on Keeping the ball (fer feck's sake), they could really drive the Wales team forward. Ramsey was not playing for the team.
Edwards - anonymous, starting to think he'll never make it.
Robson-Kanu - step up, couldn't get into it....perhaps if Ramsey and Edwards had made bigger contribution to KEEPING THE BALL
Bellamy - worked, responsible for the few moments of quality
Morrison - couldn't get into it, not his fault. Perhaps if Ramsey hadn't wasted so much possession putting it over the top for the big man to run on to <doh>

Jazz and Vokes looked the part off the bench.

Hoping Jazz gets more minutes next season against some of the pacier guys that Rangel struggles with

Second that! Rangel has an edge offensively but Jazz has the ability to develop that. Based on yesterday he should start the next Wales match -he is too good technically to be sitting on the bench.
