I understand that lately, last night being the most recent, there have been some very untasteful comments that have put many people off. I haven't seen the thread from last night that has upset so many people, but I gather it was disgusting and very uncalled for.
The last thing I want now is for people to go away believing the site is always like that, and I will be writing to Mick on behalf of the LFC Board, and hopefully get some other Mods to back me up from other boards where we can make a joint board coalition for change. Throughout the history of Not606 there have been some horrible WUMs, and generally horrible people - as in life. However, that was always going to happen with a much more laid back forum such as Not606 although I believe the mods of the forum have done a brilliant job on maintaining a standard we've all come to expect.
For those who have been here long enough to remember, we've had Bridge of Sighs, we've had "Av u ever won the treble? Av u ****", we've had Lettuce (who turns out can be very malicious). Each one has been banned, on every one of their accounts and moved on. There will always be those who mock the dead, and have little respect for anyone including themselves but we have to show what we're made of by ignoring them and not let them ruin our discussions.
This is a plea, that people be patient and just bare with the site for a little longer. If it doesn't change, then I will move with you all - as I'm a LFC supporter first and foremost and won't put up with regular occurances of this. However, I do know people have been offended, if you've got any further problems then just PM me and I'll try and deal with them.
