I understand that lately, last night being the most recent, there have been some very untasteful comments that have put many people off. I haven't seen the thread from last night that has upset so many people, but I gather it was disgusting and very uncalled for. The last thing I want now is for people to go away believing the site is always like that, and I will be writing to Mick on behalf of the LFC Board, and hopefully get some other Mods to back me up from other boards where we can make a joint board coalition for change. Throughout the history of Not606 there have been some horrible WUMs, and generally horrible people - as in life. However, that was always going to happen with a much more laid back forum such as Not606 although I believe the mods of the forum have done a brilliant job on maintaining a standard we've all come to expect. For those who have been here long enough to remember, we've had Bridge of Sighs, we've had "Av u ever won the treble? Av u ****", we've had Lettuce (who turns out can be very malicious). Each one has been banned, on every one of their accounts and moved on. There will always be those who mock the dead, and have little respect for anyone including themselves but we have to show what we're made of by ignoring them and not let them ruin our discussions. This is a plea, that people be patient and just bare with the site for a little longer. If it doesn't change, then I will move with you all - as I'm a LFC supporter first and foremost and won't put up with regular occurances of this. However, I do know people have been offended, if you've got any further problems then just PM me and I'll try and deal with them.
You don't have to explain for these low lifes mate. I will be going nowhere, i'm not letting little dick heads ruin these pages for me The mods are quick to act and ban where/when its needed as quick as they can. It isn't an easy job which I understand
Looks like Mick is making some wholesale changes. All GC's ****e (and future ****e) has been moved to a nice locked forum away from cross-boards and visitors perusing the site. Lets hope the changes don't stop there.
Not too bad just been in a right mess and still got the worst to come.... That's life though - so I can't complain, just gutted that's all.
Hello Sky hope you are ok. I agree with Ze, like I said to someone last night don't let the idiots win. It does look like Mick has finally started to sort out the GC. The GC may now be a thread that everyone can use I would urge everyone to give it a go and see if we can have a good GC board on the site. Don't go leaving the Liverpool board quiet though!
I think you mods have been excellent and i include bow4fowler in that for his stint as a mod,me and him were on the verge of leaving last night but we've both decided to stay due to the changes and the good lads and the banter we have on our board. I had my say on Mick's thread today and i've saw you and Lucaaaas(among others)have your say on GC. We are a good community of lads(and a girl)on the LFC board and it would be wrong to let the ****s making the vile threads/comments win.
While all the shiete was flying you posted your book thread. But fair play for getting stuck in to the ****s gonz.
I was working away last week so have obviously missed all the ****e I can guess what it was all about though if it involved lettuce...the guys a prick (a very small and limp one) so I wouldn't let his bile force me off a site I really enjoy...we all know who is in the right so don't let those knob jockeys force any of you lot off here....I'd miss u guys
