You may have seen that I started a perfectly sensible thread about Mundell’s love child xG, and how a number of senior managers rejected it for the nerd guff that it is. Mundane - who loves talking at people, but can’t debate with them, took offence and went off in a huff. After a 3 way DM session with Seriously Boring & Aaronaldo, the part time Crombie Model & crashing bore SR then posted “Merry Xmas everyone” and flounced off too. Real “I had sand kicked in my face as a kid” behaviour. there were absolutely no insults, no bad language …nothing. We all heeded Kim Jung Fatso’s warning not to upset the Growbags who love to dominate ITTV. Elfs and I received plenty of positive feedback from normal ITTV members, including in my case three DMs from prominent ITTv posters who all think that Kim Jong Blubber is a bully & a loud mouth, but to no avail. the thought of Kim Jong losing track of the only 2 Charlton fans he knows in London - albeit coincidentally also the two most boring - was too much for his 45amp intellect to bear, so we were banned again. I finish with the immortal words of another great poster on here, Joe, who also posts on Twitter. There are a handful of good posters on ITTV. They are a bit like the Boers in South Africa, they lurk in the background, living in fear of retribution. Clarky, Eric & Auckland are worth a read. Valley Dobson is always good for a one liner. In fact, that’s all he posts. Most of the decent posters risk getting on the wrong side of The King of Uranus (I think I spelt that right), who loves de-platforming blameless fans on a whim if there’s not enough onion in his XL Doner.
Good analogy, though I'm not sure 'Boers' and 'living in fear' sit well together on the same line. It's the little posse of ringleaders who live in real fear, their wagons forming a permanent laager. ITTV didn't used to be that way. It was much more open to healthy argument and debate a decade ago. Then I joined No, serously it was though. And there are still some good guys on there. More than we sometimes realise I think.
