I feel sorry for their hardcore fans.

Many neutral football supporters laugh at Wrexham now I think.
Putting aside the investment in an impoverished local community, Wrexham FC is a plaything now.
Nothing they achieve can be respected, because it hasn't been earned.
Nothing to do with Jealousy either - for me anyway. I wouldn't want Hollywood thespians or their money anywhere near the Valley <diva>

No surprise to see that Uber defeatist Charles Hawtrey is in favour of Wasps ground sharing with us.

Perhaps the rugby fans might also partake of a half time beverage, to increase Nathan Jones’ transfer funds ?

Despite all the blather, there’s no consideration of the damaging effect this would have on the Valley pitch.

Ridiculous will not criticise the club in any way possible.

Global has had more clubs than Tiger Woods.

With his true love Cardiff City currently bottom of the Championship, he’s returned to Wrexham, what with them doing well right now .

I had to laugh at his latest Wrexham thread. Why does he get so over heated about CL members not liking Wrexham <laugh> there are loads of Charlton fans pleased to see Bromley Town doing well, but nobody is starting threads on them.

As for Wrexham can get 30,000 attendances <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh> ….they never have in their history. They are a small community club in North Wales, relatively unsuccessful, but now lucky enough to have Disney investment. Nobody begrudges their hardcore fans a bit of success, but why pretend they are the next Man City ?
I’m not sure why Wrexham should have its own thread on any Charlton forum unless it’s for taking the piss out of them - abit like palarse and “The scum “ , but then I only support one team <cheers>

Global has had to purchase two match tickets when we play Wrexham before Xmas.

One for the home end in the first half, the other for the away end in the second.

"I think we'll be bottom eight by the time we hit October so doesn't matter when we play it really".

Really?<doh>

Putting bias aside, Charlton will always be a bigger & better club than Wrexham as long as I have got a hole in my arse. Always have been , always will be. I have nothing against Wrexham BTW, I have the greatest of respect for small, much loved community based football clubs.

Then you have more respect for them than their current owners have.

Global says

“Gone are the days when Charlton fans used to get behind the players”

Honest question - how would he know ?

He has supported the club since the early 2000s, and goes to 2-3 games a season. He’s not in a position to lecture any CAFC fan on their support.

As for whipping boys - Lawrie Madden, Bob Curtis, Les Berry, even Steve Gritt used to regularly cop it in the late 70s early 80s.

Another example of an ill informed social media fan, who has never really been part of our fanbase.

The funny thing is that he has had a go and still has a go at Charlton players. Kanu, Campbell and numerous players in the past he has called ****. He is a hypocrite who changes his mind more than I change my pants.
The only reason that he bigs up Ahadme is that he went on about how we should buy him and he is a better all round player than May. If you look at the comments on CL about Ahadme and on here we can't all be wrong. He just doesn't want to lose face. Pricking his huge ego. It amazes me that intelligent people on ITTV can't see through him.

"Thing is, if they had a 30,000 stadium they would fill it. Currently 13000+ but stadium development waiting for the green light. Plenty of space around the current one to expand".
<laugh>

Global talking about Wrecsum-
“Nothing to do with this signing. They are unbeatable at home. You score 4, we'll score 5. Hope they do it if only to shut up the clueless contingent elsewhere.”
strange how he says “we’ll score 5 “ - I thought he was a Charlton supporter?

He’s a Wrexham supporter when they are doing well.

He only likes to be associated with success.

As @ElfsborgAddick will confirm, Global was referring to Cardiff City as “we” not that long ago.
